Local and global economic and financial outlook
Our first 2014 Power Hour event in Sandton will be presented by Ian Cruickshanks, Chief Economist at the SA Institute of Race Relations.
The presentation will be a broad economic outlook and will cover the major global and local economic drivers as he looks not only at currencies, GDP and key indicators but also, for example, what can the oil price tell us about commodity prices in the year ahead?
Importantly those attending will not only get a solid understanding of how the South African and global economies are looking. But one will also leave with a stronger sense of how the different economic pieces of the puzzle fit together and how we can interrupt them for our own investment portfolio.
Ian has decades of experience in stock markets and in particular economics and strategy that he will impart for this event.
