ABIGAIL KLOPPER - PHOTOGRAPHER.

I shoot love. I shoot for love and I shoot with love. I'm a Wedding and Beauty Photographer for fun, everyday people. Not only will you be reminded of this chapter in your life, but you’ll also remember the fun you had making these memories. I aim to create something beautiful from everyday people and settings in a fun, relaxed way.
Having moved to Cape Town 3 years ago, Abigail has grown her business and her network far bigger than she was ever able to in Johannesburg, having lived there for most of her life.
Through ambition, determination and a whole load of online and offline network, Abigail has finally found her niche and her passion which she feels is on the brink of catapulting her business to the next level. She attributes this pathway to success to her move to the Mother City and the thriving entrepreneurial spirit she found here.

 DEBBY SATCHEL – BROOKSIDE ADMIN

Debby Satchel was born & raised in Cape Town. By the late 90's she was a single mum & sole supporter of 2 small boys. With just a matric, a well paying job in Knysna was out of the question. Debby became a Pastel VAR dealer & self-employed.  In the Garden Route - everyone knows everyone else. It is easy to spread your business name. There was also The Boys Boerewors Bash 1 Friday a month, for the business owners of Knysna - The girls went along too! We changed their time honoured tradition :-)
Debby became the treasurer of the Knysna Chamber of Commerce. These where her introduction to networking.
When Debby moved back to Cape Town in 2002, she needed to find a way to build her brand in the much larger environment. 11 years of consistent networking later - she can guarantee that it works!
Cape town is a very small City if you network effectively.
In 2010 Debby started a bookkeeping business. She started a Franchise in 2011. Debby sold the bookkeeping business, with 4 employees, in 2013. There are currently 2 franchisees employing 7 staff. The purpose of the franchise is Business Growing Business.
Debby has grown from a shy, quiet person who was scared to talk to others into a confident educator who loves to share life's business lessons.

ANN MACKRILL – HEALING SLEEP PRODUCTS

My dream was to become a Textile Designer.  This  didn’t happen, but some 30 years later I now sell  Household Textiles and love it!
I have worked in many fields, been fired for being too cheeky a few times, sold Gold Coins, sold Foam Rubber, run a Recruitment Business , worked as a designer in a factory making clothes for middle aged women ( firing number 1) ,  Run a small coffee shop ( firing number 2) and held down the job of Training Manager for Environ Skincare for 17 years.
Finally however  I’ve come home. My story is really about paying attention to ones passion and how life can take some really strange turns if one ignores the voice that speaks to each of us….
