Simon Brown of JustOneLap.com will present on his process of selecting and deciding on stocks that meet his investment requirements for a long term buy and hold portfolio. Buying the right investment for the long term means doing your homework right at the beginning, for many the process is complicated but it needn't be.
Areas covered will include Simon's concept of a preponderance of evidence using Porters five forces to determine the likelihood of a dominant company remaining the leader in its field for decades to come. He will also cover simple but hugely important ratios and how to apply them to your long term investing.
This will be a practical session including using live examples of stocks that meet his criteria and can be considered for inclusion in a long term portfolio.company.
