Cut back, step down and engage in more meaningful alternatives

It's About Time has a dualistic meaning and connotation. Being directed at the executive population, personal age, stage and phase will place the emphasis either on about or time, depending where you are, and what you have achieved, caused and experienced. Join this session of We Read For You, where Prof Johann Coetzee, the author, will present this book.

When is enough actually enough?

In a way, this book is an autobiographical chronicle by the author, triggered by serious illness and some deep insights emanating from his condition. The messages are however not about the medical event, nor about the author. The messages have actually evolved over forty years of professional work in psychological practice and consulting to corporates worldwide. The essential message in It's About Time is about timing. When is enough actually enough, and when is it time to cut back, step down and engage in more meaningful alternatives?

While the reader is inspired to view typical executive life as untypically different, the emphasis remains on realism and pragmatism. Affordability of an alternative lifestyle is presented, not as a material pre-condition, but rather in the context of a preferred quality of life, freedom and self-management.
