ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Roxy’s career started by studying Personnel Management at The Cape Technikon. She acquired marketing and sales skills over ten years working in the retail, building and tourism industries. During this time she nurtured her passion for people development and started her journey of personal transformation. In 1999 she received extensive training through an international organisation, Landmark Education and Insights. Between 2000 and 2003 Roxy participated in Landmark Education’s leadership programs in the UK, simultaneously leading successful seminars in South Africa.
Roxy furthered her leadership training in the HIV and Aids field as counselor and program facilitator through a number of organisations, including CABSA (linked to World Vision). Occupying international platforms in 2002, her talks and services were well received and enjoyed by corporate (Caltex SA, Pioneer Foods, Vineyard Hotel Group, Eskom, Department of Culture Arts and Sports, University of the Western Cape), private and public enterprises like United Nations, Life Long Learning, UNESCO, to mention a few.
Roxy is the presenter of the daily TV show OurCity on CTV, and the presenter and face of a number of corporate DVD’s for Old Mutual, Clicks, Serati, UP2US, SIYAINQOBA – BEAT-IT and UWC.
Roxy has had appearances in Woolworths SA, Dr Hauschka, The Oprah Magazine, Forbes Africa, DRUM magazine and Femina.
