Aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners in Johannesburg are set to benefit from an upcoming free business seminar to be held at the Henley Business School, Sunninghill, on 8 July, following collaboration between Nedbank and Kaya FM. Nedbank Simply Biz workshop will focus on the theme Cash Flow. The keynote speaker for the seminar will be Precious Khosi Mvulane from GAD Groupwww.Gadcs.co.za, a registered CA, speaker and an author, will provide insight on cash flow management in a business.

Ineffective cash flow management not only hampers the success of a business, but can force a business to close down. It is critical for entrepreneurs to manage cash flow in the early phases of the business to survive beyond the 18 month failure phase.

The seminar is the third of a series of six, due to be held throughout 2015, with a vision to empower entrepreneurs and small business owners to take their business to the next level. These 'SimplyBiz' seminars build on insights from award-winning business show, KayaBiz and are hosted by the renowned Steven Bacher.

"We are delighted to have Kaya FM as our partner as we share a long-standing passion for small businesses, championing an entrepreneurial culture in our society and creating an environment where small businesses can thrive," says Bradley Ralph: Head of Small Business at Nedbank.

Nedbank's partnership with Kaya FM forms part of the bank's continued efforts to support the SME sector and enable job creation. In this context, Nedbank has invested in various initiatives over many years, including the SimplyBiz Seminars, a flagship offering which spans over ten (10) years, Small Business Friday™ which seek to galvanise the South African population to 'vote small business', and the Nedbank Small Business Index™ (NSBI) which provides a measurable assessment of the state of the SME sector. In addition, the bank supports the Shift Questions workshops in association with Raizcorp, which were developed to equip entrepreneurs to think differently about their businesses in order to unlock new opportunities and accelerate their success.

"We believe the SimplyBiz seminars are a fantastic opportunity for small business owners to reflect on their business, acquire new skills and network with like-minded people. Spaces will be limited, so we encourage everyone who is interested to take part," concludes Ralph.

The next seminar will take place in August. Registrations can be done viahttp://www.kayafm.co.za/simply-biz-seminar/
